Beryl + XGL su Debian

installate i driver proprietari fglrx da synaptic

aggiungete ai repository debian (etch o sid) nel file /etc/apt/sources.list le seguenti righe:

deb http://www.prato.linux.it/~mnencia/debian xgl/
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb debian-unstable beryl-svn

da synaptic cercate xserver-xgl installatelo con tutte le dipendenze.

cercate ed installate (sempre da synaptic e soddisfando le dipendenze) il pacchetto beryl.

modificate il file xorg.conf, disabilitando AIGLX e utilizzando i driver proprietari fglrx (vedi sotto).

da shell digitate beryl-manager --no-window-decorator, vi apparirà l'icona nel systray. cliccateci sopra con il destro e andate ad Opzioni avanzate Beryl -> Rendering Path e selezionate Copia.

sempre dal beryl manager selezionate come window-manager Beryl e dovrebbe funzionare tutto ;)
